Qibblo Acceptable Use Policy
The short version
These are the highlights. The full policy below always governs, and it works alongside the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Use Qibblo for what it's built for.
- Don't break the law or others' rights.
- Don't attack, overload, or reverse-engineer it.
- No scraping, bots, or automated abuse.
- No spam, fraud, or deception.
- Breaking these rules can cost you access.
Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do when you use Qibblo — including our website, mobile and desktop apps, application programming interfaces (APIs), and supporting infrastructure (together, the "Service").
This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The Community Guidelines describe our content and behavior standards in detail; this AUP focuses on the rules that keep the Service itself lawful, stable, and secure. It applies to every User and to every method of accessing the Service.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your Account and for everything you upload, post, transmit, or make available through the Service. You must use the Service in compliance with this AUP and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you allow anyone else to use your Account or access the Service through your credentials, you remain responsible for their actions.
Prohibited Content
You may not upload, post, share, store, or transmit Content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way (this results in immediate removal, a permanent ban, and reporting to authorities);
- is non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexually explicit material that violates our Community Guidelines;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, or incites violence against people or groups;
- promotes or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm, or seriously dangerous acts;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to scam or phish other Users;
- contains viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity; or
- shares the private or personal information of others without authorization.
For detailed content standards, see the Community Guidelines. Where the two overlap, both apply.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of others;
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person;
- deceive, defraud, or mislead others for gain;
- interfere with or disrupt another User's use and enjoyment of the Service;
- collect or misuse others' personal information;
- facilitate illegal transactions or the trade of prohibited goods or services; or
- evade or attempt to evade enforcement of this AUP, the Terms, or the Community Guidelines — including by creating new Accounts after a suspension or ban.
Security & System Integrity
Protecting the Service protects everyone on it. You may not:
- access, or attempt to access, accounts, systems, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to access;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, without our prior written permission;
- introduce viruses, worms, malware, or any other harmful or disruptive code;
- exploit, or attempt to exploit, a bug or vulnerability;
- bypass or interfere with rate limits, access controls, filters, or other protective measures; or
- overload, flood, or otherwise impair the Service or its infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks.
Automated Access & Scraping
Automated access is only allowed through tools we expressly authorize. You may not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or index the Service or its Content, except as permitted by a documented API or a mechanism we clearly authorize;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with the Service, create Accounts, or generate activity, except through an authorized API;
- exceed any published rate limits, or take steps to disguise automated traffic; or
- collect, aggregate, or republish Qibblo data at scale, or use it to build a competing or derivative dataset or service.
Where we offer an API, your use of it is also subject to any developer terms and technical limits we publish.
Account & Access Rules
- Accounts are for a single person (or a single organization, where we permit that). Keep your credentials confidential.
- Do not sell, rent, lend, or transfer your Account, or buy or accept a transferred Account.
- Do not create Accounts by automated means or in bulk.
- Do not maintain multiple Accounts to evade limits or enforcement, or create a new Account to circumvent a suspension or ban.
- Invitation codes are personal and must not be sold, traded, or transferred for value.
Messaging, Spam & Commercial Use
Keep the Service useful and free of junk.
Not allowed
- Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or chain messages.
- Phishing, scams, or distributing deceptive or malicious links.
- Unauthorized advertising, promotions, or commercial solicitation.
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or "get rich quick" offers.
- Artificially inflating Sparks, Glints, followers, or other metrics, or buying and selling engagement.
Qibblo does not operate a marketplace at launch, and commercial transactions between Users are not permitted except where we expressly allow them.
Impersonation & Deception
You may not:
- impersonate any person, brand, or organization, or falsely imply an affiliation or endorsement;
- falsify, forge, or manipulate identifiers, headers, or metadata to disguise the origin of Content or traffic; or
- engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior designed to deceive or manipulate other Users or the Service.
Intellectual Property
Only share Content you own or have the right to share, and respect the intellectual property rights of others. You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service's software, design, or underlying technology, except where the law expressly permits it.
Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright / DMCA Policy. We act on valid notices and take action against repeat infringers.
Privacy of Others
Respect other people's privacy. You may not collect, store, share, or use another User's personal information without their consent and a lawful basis for doing so.
- No doxxing or publishing private or identifying information about others.
- No sharing of private communications or intimate images without consent.
- If you access any data through an authorized integration or API, handle it lawfully and use it only for the purposes we permit.
