Qibblo Legal

Community Guidelines

How we treat each other here

Qibblo works because people show up, share, and look out for one another. These Guidelines describe what we encourage, what we don't allow, and what happens when someone crosses the line — so everyone knows where they stand.

Version 1.0 Effective July 1, 2026 Applies to everyone on Qibblo

Qibblo Community Guidelines

The short version

These are the highlights. The full Guidelines below always govern, and they work alongside the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Treat people the way you'd want to be treated.
  • Keep Qibblo safe, especially for minors.
  • No hate, harassment, or threats.
  • Be real — no impersonation or spam.
  • Respect other people's rights and privacy.
  • See something wrong? Report it.
01

Our Values

Qibblo is a place to post Qibs, react with Sparks, and build a community around what you care about. We want it to feel open and creative, and safe enough that people actually want to stay.

These Guidelines apply to everything on the platform — Qibs, comments, messages, profiles, usernames, display names, images, video, audio, links, and any other Content — and to everyone who uses Qibblo. They work together with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Where any of them overlap, all of them apply.

We enforce these Guidelines with human judgment and automated tools. Context matters, and we try to be fair — but the safety of the community comes first.

02

Be Respectful

Disagreement is welcome. Cruelty is not. You can challenge ideas without attacking the person behind them.

Not allowed

  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any person.
  • Coordinated pile-ons or encouraging others to harass someone.
  • Unwanted sexual advances or persistent unwanted contact.
  • Insults, slurs, or degrading content aimed at an individual.

If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop. Repeated unwanted contact is harassment.

03

No Hateful Conduct

We do not allow content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes hatred against people based on who they are.

This includes attacks or slurs targeting a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, or age. It also includes hateful imagery, symbols, or support for organizations or individuals that promote hate or violence against these groups.

04

Child Safety

Zero tolerance. The exploitation or endangerment of minors is the most serious violation on Qibblo. We act on it immediately and report it to the appropriate authorities.

We strictly prohibit, and will remove and permanently ban Accounts for:

  • any sexual content involving or depicting minors, including illustrated, animated, or AI-generated depictions;
  • sexualizing, grooming, or attempting to make contact with a minor for a harmful purpose;
  • content that facilitates secrecy between an adult and a child, or seeks to isolate a minor from trusted adults;
  • sharing, requesting, or directing others to child sexual abuse material; and
  • any other content or conduct that exploits or endangers a minor.

We report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement. If you encounter this kind of content, report it immediately and do not share it further.

Minors who use Qibblo should never be sexualized, and features intended for minors are held to heightened safety standards.

05

Violence & Threats

Do not use Qibblo to threaten, plan, or promote violence.

Not allowed

  • Threats of violence against any person or group.
  • Incitement, encouragement, or coordination of violent acts.
  • Glorifying or promoting terrorism, violent extremism, or the people and groups behind them.
  • Celebrating or encouraging harm to others.
06

Self-Harm & Dangerous Acts

We care about the wellbeing of our community. We do not allow content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating, or that presents these as desirable.

We also don't allow content that promotes dangerous challenges or acts that are likely to cause serious injury. We may remove this content, limit its reach, or add supportive context, and we may point people toward crisis and support resources.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a local crisis line or a trusted person. You can also report content so our team can help connect people with support.

07

Graphic Content

Don't post gratuitously graphic, gory, or shocking content. Real-world violence, serious injury, and death shared to shock, glorify, or harass are not allowed.

Some sensitive content — for example, in a news, educational, or documentary context — may be permitted with a warning screen or reach limits. We may apply these controls at our discretion to protect the community.

08

Adult & Sensitive Content

Qibblo is a general-audience community. Sexually explicit content and pornography are not permitted, and content that is sexually suggestive may be restricted or age-gated.

Non-consensual intimate imagery is strictly prohibited. Never post or threaten to post intimate or sexual images of a person without their consent. This includes "revenge" content and AI-generated intimate imagery of real people. We remove it and ban the accounts responsible.

These rules protect everyone, and they apply to real, edited, and synthetic media alike.

09

Authenticity & Impersonation

Be yourself. Trust depends on people being who they say they are.

Not allowed

  • Impersonating another person, brand, or organization.
  • Creating accounts designed to deceive or mislead others.
  • Using a false identity to harass, defraud, or manipulate.

Fan accounts, commentary, and parody are welcome when they're clearly labeled and not intended to deceive.

10

Spam & Platform Manipulation

Keep Qibblo genuine. Don't try to game the system or flood people with junk.

  • No spam, repetitive posting, or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • No scams, phishing, or deceptive links.
  • No fake engagement — buying or selling Sparks, follows, or Glints, or using bots to inflate metrics.
  • No artificially manipulating reach, rankings, or reputation systems.
  • No buying, selling, or transferring accounts or invitation codes for value.
11

Intellectual Property

Only post Content you created or have the right to share. Respect other people's copyrights, trademarks, and other rights.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you can submit a notice under our Copyright / DMCA Policy. We remove infringing Content and take action against repeat infringers.

12

Privacy & Doxxing

Respect other people's privacy. Do not share someone's private or identifying information without their permission.

  • No doxxing — publishing private details like a home address, phone number, financial or identity documents, or precise location.
  • No sharing private communications or intimate images without consent.
  • No recording or surveilling people in ways that violate their privacy or the law.
13

Illegal & Regulated Activity

Don't use Qibblo to break the law or to buy, sell, or coordinate illegal or dangerous goods and services.

  • No trade in illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or other regulated or dangerous goods.
  • No human trafficking, exploitation, or facilitation of any of these.
  • No fraud, counterfeiting, or financial scams.
  • No content that provides instructions for seriously harmful or illegal activity.
14

Misinformation & Deceptive Media

We don't allow deceptive content that is likely to cause real-world harm — for example, false claims that could endanger people's health or safety, or that are designed to interfere with civic or election processes.

Manipulated or synthetic media that is presented as authentic in a misleading way is not allowed, especially when it depicts real people saying or doing things they did not. We may label, limit, or remove this content.

15

AI-Generated Content

AI-made Content is welcome when it's used responsibly. If you post it, you're responsible for it just like anything else you share.

  • Label AI-generated or heavily edited media where it could otherwise be mistaken for real.
  • Don't use AI to create harmful synthetic media — including non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive impersonations, or fabricated statements attributed to real people.
  • Follow the terms of any third-party AI tools you used.
16

Reporting & Enforcement

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, report it using the in-product report tools or contact safety@qibblo.com. Reports help us keep Qibblo safe, and we review them as quickly as we can.

What we may do

Depending on the severity and context of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • remove the Content or add a warning or label;
  • limit the reach or visibility of the Content;
  • issue a warning to the Account;
  • restrict features, such as posting, commenting, or messaging;
  • temporarily suspend the Account; or
  • permanently terminate the Account.

How we decide

We consider factors like the seriousness of the violation, whether it was repeated, the potential for harm, and the surrounding context. Some violations — such as those involving child safety, credible threats, or non-consensual intimate imagery — result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

17

Appeals

We know we won't always get it right. If we take action on your Content or Account and you think we made a mistake, you can appeal by following the instructions in our notice to you or by contacting support@qibblo.com.

We'll review appeals in good faith. Decisions on the most serious violations, including child-safety cases, may be final.

18

Changes & Contact

As Qibblo grows, these Guidelines will evolve. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date and, where appropriate, let people know in-product.
